The township's annual shred day is set this year for Saturday, May 19, 2012. Shredding will take place from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at the Civic Center parking lot located at 40700 Romeo Plank Road. Participants are allowed to drop off 2 grocery bags or 2 boxes of materials (12" X 15") per household to be shredded for free. A charge of $5.00 per container will apply to excess materials. On June 1, 2009, the U.S. Government will implement full requirements of the land and sea phase of the Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative.
