Odor Complaints for Southern Clinton Township - Wednesday, May 16, 2012

We have had complaints regarding the odor that emits from the southern end of Clinton Township in the Gratiot area.  While the township is not involved in the person retained to handle the complaints we are taking a proactive approach to making this information available.  The person who has been retained is Brad Wallen and his staff of technical people will handle the complaints.  Please direct your complaints to their email at odors@otiindustrialservices.com or by phone to (586) 216-4561.  To read more pleaseclick here.

 
Annual Shred Day - Tuesday, March 06, 2012
The township's annual shred day is set this year for Saturday, May 19, 2012. Shredding will take place from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at the Civic Center parking lot located at 40700 Romeo Plank Road. Participants are allowed to drop off 2 grocery bags or 2 boxes of materials (12" X 15") per household to be shredded for free. A charge of $5.00 per container will apply to excess materials. Passport News You Can Use - Wednesday, March 05, 2008
On June 1, 2009, the U.S. Government will implement full requirements of the land and sea phase of the Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative. The proposed rules require most U.S. citizens entering the United States at sea or land ports to have a passport, passport card, or other travel document approved by the Department of Homeland Security.Children: U.S citizen children under the age of 16 will be able to present the original or copy of their birth certificate, or other proof of U.S. citizenship such as a naturalization certificate or citizenship card.Groups of U.S. citizen children ages 16-18, when traveling with a school or religious group, social organization, or sports team, will be able to enter under adult supervision with originals or copies of their birth certificates or other proof of citizenship.  For more information go to http://travel.state.gov.The Clinton Township Clerk’s Office is a Passport Acceptance Agent and will be glad to answer any questions you may have at 286.9422
